52 and He sent messengers before His face. And they going forward, entered into a city of the Samaritans, in order to prepare for Him; 53 and they did not receive Him, because His face was going toward Jerusalem. 54 And the disciples James and John, seeing, said, Lord, do you wish that we may command fire to descend from heaven and consume them? 55 And He turning, rebuked them. 56 And they went into another village. 57 And they going on the way, a certain one said to Him, Lord, I will follow thee wheresoever thou mayest go. 58 And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of heaven nests; but the Son of man has not a place where He may recline His head. 59 And He said to another, Follow thou me. And he said, Lord, permit me first having gone away to bury my father. 60 And Jesus said to him, Let the dead bury their dead; but thou having gone away proclaim the kingdom of God. 61 And another said to Him, Lord, I will follow thee; but first permit me to bid adieu to those at my own home. 62 And Jesus said to him, No one putting his hand to the plow, and looking back, is worthy of the kingdom of God.
