1 And it came to pass in the thereafter that He was traveling through each city and village preaching and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God, and the Twelve were with Him, 2 and certain women who had been healed from evil spirits and infirmities: Mary who is called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, 3 and Joanna wife of Chuza, steward of Herod, and Susanna, and many others, who were ministering to them out of their means. 4 And a great crowd assembling and those from each town coming to Him, He spoke by a parable: 5 “The one sowing went out to sow his seed. And in his sowing, some indeed fell along the path, and it was trampled upon, and the birds of the sky devoured it. 6 And other fell upon the rock, and having sprung up, it withered because of it not having moisture.
