1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they went to the sepulchre with the spices they had provided, accompanied by several others. 2 and having found that the stone had been remov'd from the sepulchre, they entred in, 3 but did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 whilst they were in great perplexity about it, all of a sudden, two men appear'd before them in robes of light. 5 upon which they were frightned, and bowed themselves to the very ground: but the men said to them, why do you look among the dead for one that is alive? 6 he is not here, but is risen: remember what he told you, when he was yet in Galilee, Luke 24:1-6, Mace New Testament.
