38 And he cryed, saying: Iesu thou sonne of Dauid, haue mercie on me. 39 And they which went before, rebuked hym, that he shoulde holde his peace: But he cryed so much the more, thou sonne of Dauid, haue mercie on me. 40 And Iesus stoode styll, & commaunded hym to be brought vnto hym. And whe he was come neare, he asked him, 41 Saying: What wylt thou that I do vnto thee? And he saide: Lorde, that I may receaue my syght. 42 And Iesus sayde vnto hym: receaue thy syght, thy fayth hath saued thee? 43 And immediatly he receaued his sight, and folowed hym, praysyng God: And all the people, when they sawe it, gaue prayse vnto God.
