39 She had a sister named Mary (beloved), who sat at the Lord’s {Kyriou} feet listening to His message. 40 But Martha (the lady) was distracted by all the preparations to be made {diakonian}. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord {Kyrie}, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her to help me! 41 “Martha (the lady), Martha, the Lord {Kyrios} replied, “you are worried and upset about many things. 42 But only one thing is necessary.
