23 or his sin which he sinned in it is made known to him, then he shall bring his offering: a kid of the goats, an unblemished male. 24 And he shall lay his hand on the head of the goat, and he shall slaughter it in the place where he slaughters the burnt offering before the face of YHWH; it is a sin offering. 25 And the priest shall take from the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and he shall put it on the horns of the altar of the burnt offering, and he shall pour its blood at the base of the altar of the burnt offering. 26 And all its fat he shall burn on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall make atonement upon him from his sin, and it shall be forgiven for him. 27 And if one soul from the people of the land sins in error, in doing one of the commandments of YHWH that are not to be done, and he is guilty, 28 or his sin which he has sinned is made known to him, then he shall bring as his offering: a female kid of the goats unblemished, a female, for his sin that he has sinned. 29 And he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and he shall slaughter the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering. 30 And the priest shall take from its blood with his finger, and he shall put it on the horns of the altar of the burnt offering, and he shall pour all the blood at the base of the altar. 31 And all its fat he shall remove as the fat is removed from the sacrifice of the peace offerings, and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a pleasing aroma to YHWH. And the priest shall make atonement upon him, and it shall be forgiven for him. 32 And if he brings a lamb for his offering for a sin offering, he shall bring an unblemished female, 33 and he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and he shall slaughter it for a sin offering in the place where he slaughters the burnt offering. 34 And the priest shall take from the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and he shall put it on the horns of the altar of the burnt offering, and he shall pour all its blood at the base of the altar. 35 And all its fat he shall remove, as the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of the peace offerings, and the priest shall burn them on the altar, on the fire offerings to YHWH. And the priest shall make atonement upon him, upon his sin that he has sinned, and it shall be forgiven for him. Leviticus 4:23-35, Berean Literal Bible. Public domain.
