22 And if a man sanctifies to the LORD a field which he has bought, which was not a field of his inheritance, 23 Then the priest shall reckon the valuation thereof until the year of jubilee; and he shall give the price of the valuation thereof in that day as a holy thing to the LORD. 24 In the year of the jubilee the field shall return to him from whom it was bought, even to him to whom the inheritance of the land did belong. 25 And all the valuations thereof shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary; twenty gerahs shall be the shekel. 26 But the firstling of an animal, which should be the LORD'S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox or sheep, it is the LORD'S. 27 And if it is of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to its valuation, and shall add a fifth part to it; or if it is not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to its valuation. 28 But every devoted thing that a man shall devote to the LORD of all that he has, both of man and beast and of the field of his inheritance, shall not be sold or redeemed; every devoted thing is most holy to the LORD. 29 Every devoted thing which shall be devoted by men shall not be redeemed, but shall surely be put to death. 30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is the LORD'S; it is holy to the LORD. 31 And if a man wishes to redeem some of his tithes, he shall add to it a fifth part thereof. 32 And all the tithe of the herd or of the flock, even of whatever passes under the shepherd's staff, the tenth shall be holy to the LORD. 33 He shall not inquire whether it is good or bad, neither shall he exchange it; and if he exchanges it at all, then both it and the exchange thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed. 34 These are the commandments which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
