39 If your brother, having been compelled by poverty, will have sold himself to you, you shall not oppress him with the servitude of indentured servants. 40 But he shall be like a hired hand or a settler; he shall work with you, until the year of the Jubilee. 41 And after that, he shall depart with his children, and he shall return to his kindred, to the possession of his fathers.
