1 And He called to Moses, and YHWH spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying, 2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them: When any man from you⁺ brings near an offering to YHWH—from the livestock, from the herd, or from the flock—you⁺ shall bring near your⁺ offering. 3 If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall bring near an unblemished male; to the door of the Tent of Meeting he shall bring it near of his own free will before the face of YHWH. 4 And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted for him, to make atonement upon him.
