1 And the angel of YHWH came up from Gilgal to Bochim and said, “I led you⁺ up out of Egypt and brought you⁺ to the land of which I swore to your⁺ fathers, and I said, ‘I will not break My covenant with you⁺ forever. 2 And you⁺ shall not cut a covenant with those dwelling in this land; their altars you⁺ shall tear down.’ You⁺ have not obeyed My voice.
