And all the congregation of the sons of Israel assembled at Shiloh, and they set up there the Tent of Meeting, and the land was subdued before them.

And there remained among the sons of Israel seven tribes that had not yet received their inheritance.

And Joshua said to the sons of Israel, “How long will you? neglect to go in to possess the land that YHWH, God of your? fathers, has given to you??

Appoint from among you? three men for the tribe, and I will send them, and they shall rise and go through the land and survey it according to their inheritance, and they shall come to me.

And they shall divide it into seven parts. Judah shall remain in their territory on the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory on the north.

And you? shall write down the land in seven portions and bring it to me here, that I may cast for you? lots here before the face of YHWH our God.

But no portion is for the Levites in your? midst, for the priesthood of YHWH is their inheritance. And Gad and Reuben and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of YHWH gave them.”

And the men arose and went, and Joshua commanded those who went to write down the land, saying, “Go and walk up and down in the land, and describe it, and return to me, and here I will cast for you? lots before the face of YHWH in Shiloh.”

And the men went and passed through the land, and they wrote it down by the cities in seven parts in a book, and they came to Joshua at the camp in Shiloh.

And Joshua cast for them lots in Shiloh before the face of YHWH, and there Joshua divided the land to the sons of Israel according to their divisions.
