6 Jesus seeing him lie there, and knowing that he had been sick a long time, said to him, will you be cured? 7 the sick man answered him, sir, I have nobody to put me into the pool when the water has been agitated: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. 8 rise, said Jesus to him, take up thy bed, and go your way. 9 and immediately the man was healed, and took up his bed, and went his way: but that day being the sabbath, John 5:6-9, Mace New Testament.
