6 Jesus, having seen this one lying and having known that he has been a long time already, says to him, “Do you want to become well?” 7 The one ailing answered Him, “Sir, I do not have a man, that when the water might be stirred, he might put me into the pool; and while I am going, another goes down before me.” 8 Jesus says to him, “Arise, take up your mat, and walk.” 9 And immediately the man became well, and he took up his mat and was walking.
