27 John answered and said, “A man is not able to receive one thing unless it shall be given to him from heaven. 28 You? yourselves testify to me that I said, ‘I am not the Christ, but I am sent before Him.’ 29 The one having the bride is the bridegroom, and the friend of the bridegroom, the one standing and hearing him, rejoices with joy because of the voice of the bridegroom.
