1 I assure you, he that entreth not by the door into the sheep-fold, but climbeth up some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2 but he that enters in by the door, is the pastor of the sheep. 3 the porter lets him in, and the sheep know his voice: he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out to pasture. 4 when he lets out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: because they know his voice. 5 a stranger they will not follow, but flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
