7 Concerning Edom, thus says YHWH of Hosts: “Is there no longer wisdom in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished? 8 Flee, turn back, and go deep to dwell, O dwellers of Dedan! For the calamity of Esau I will bring upon him, the time I will visit punishment on him. 9 If grape-gatherers came to you, would they not leave gleanings? If thieves in the night, would they not destroy their sufficiency? 10 But I will strip Esau bare; I will uncover his secret places, and he will not be able to hide himself.
