3 Then the LORD {YHWH} said, “Just as My servant Isaiah (YHWH has saved) has gone naked and barefoot for three years as a sign and omen against Egypt (land of bondage) and Cush (the upper Nile region),

4 so the king of Assyria (a step) will lead away the captives of Egypt (land of bondage) and the exiles of Cush (Ethiopia), young and old alike, naked and barefoot, with bared buttocks—to Egypt’s shame.

5 Those who made Cush (Ethiopia) their hope and Egypt (land of bondage) their boast will be dismayed and ashamed.
