1 And it happened, when humankind began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, 2 that God's sons saw that the daughters of humankind were beautiful, and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. 3 And God said, |My Spirit will not remain in humankind forever, since he is indeed flesh; yet his days will be one hundred twenty years.| 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days (and also after that), when the sons of God had sexual relations with the daughters of humankind and had children by them.
