1 And Ioseph fell vpon his fathers face, and wept vpon him, and kyssed hym. 2 And Ioseph comaunded his seruauntes the phisitians to imbawme his father. And the phisitians enbawmed Israel. 3 And fourtie dayes were continued (for so long doth the imbawmyng last) and the Egyptians mourned for him thre score and ten dayes. 4 And when the dayes of mournyng were ended, Ioseph spake vnto ye house of Pharao, saying: If I haue founde fauour in your eyes, speake I pray you in the eares of Pharao, saying: Genesis 50:1-4, Bishops' Bible of 1568.
