When Husham (haste) died, Hadad (mighty) son of Bedad (solitary), who defeated Midian (strife) in the country of Moab (of his father), reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Avith (ruins).

When Hadad (mighty) died, Samlah (garment) from Masrekah (vineyard of noble vines) reigned in his place.

When Samlah (garment) died, Shaul (desired) from Rehoboth (broad places) on the Euphrates \the River/ reigned in his place.

When Shaul (desired) died, Baal-hanan (Baal is gracious) son of Achbor (mouse) reigned in his place.

When Baal-hanan (Baal is gracious) son of Achbor (mouse) died, Hadad [Hadar] reigned in his place. His city was named Pau (bleating), and his wife’s name was Mehetabel (favored of God) daughter of Matred (pushing forward), the daughter of Me-zahab (waters of gold).
