13 And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father with deceit, and they spoke because he had defiled Dinah their sister, 14 and they said to them, “We are not able to do this thing, to give our sister to a man who has a foreskin, for that is a reproach to us. 15 Only on this condition we will consent to you?; if you? will become as we are—that every male among you? be circumcised. 16 And we will give our daughters to you?, and your? daughters we will take for us.
