1 “ And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, thus says the Lord YHWH: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. 2 And I will turn you around, and will lead you on, and I will bring you up from the extremities of the north, and I will bring you against the mountains of Israel. 3 And I will strike the bow from your left hand, and the arrows from your right hand I will make fall. 4 You will fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the nations who are with you, to be the prey of birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field I will give you as food. 5 You will fall upon the face of the field, for I have spoken, a declaration of the Lord YHWH. 6 And I will send fire on Magog, and on those dwelling in the islands in security, and they will know that I am YHWH. 7 And My holy name I will make known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let the name of My holiness be profaned anymore; and the nations will know that I am YHWH, the Holy One in Israel. 8 Behold, it is coming, and it will come to pass, a declaration of the Lord YHWH; it is the day of which I have spoken! 9 And those dwelling in the cities of Israel will go out, and they will set on fire and will burn the weapons—the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, and the javelins and spears—and they will burn them with fire seven years; 10 and they will not carry wood from the field, and they will not cut down from the forests, because they will burn the weapons with fire. And they will plunder those who plundered them, and they will pillage those who pillaged them, a declaration of the Lord YHWH. Ezekiel 39:1-10, Berean Literal Bible. Public domain.
