17 And you shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones; the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and an emerald: 18 And the second row a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a jasper. 19 And the third row a jacinth (zircon), carnelian, and an amethyst. 20 And the fourth row a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper; they shall be set in gold in their enclosings. 21 And the stones shall be engraved with the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one shall be engraved with his name according to the number of the twelve tribes.
