1 And YHWH said to Moses and to Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 “This month shall be for you? the beginning of months; it shall be for you? the first of the months of the year. 3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, on the tenth of this month, and they shall take for themselves—each man—a lamb, according to the house of the fathers, a lamb for a house. 4 And if the house is too small for a lamb, then he and his neighbor who is near to his house shall take it by the number of souls, each man according to the mouth of his eating, you? shall count for the lamb.
