1 LIKE dead flies which make the container of precious ointment stink, so does a great folly outweigh wisdom and honor. 2 A wise man's heart thinks rightly; but a fool's heart thinks wrongly. 3 Yea also, when the fool walks by the way, he lacks wisdom, and whatever he reasons is folly. 4 If the temper of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your country; because healing forgives many sins. 5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, like an error which proceeds from before a ruler: 6 The fool is set in high and powerful places, and the rich shall sit in a low place. 7 I have seen servants riding upon horses, and princes walking like servants on the ground.
