8 At that time we took from the two kings of the Amorites (sayers) the land across the Jordan (flowing down), from the Arnon (rushing stream) Valley as far as Mount Hermon (a sanctuary)—

9 which the Sidonians call (a sanctuary) Sirion (breastplate) but the Amorites (sayers) call Senir (snow mountain)—

10 all the cities of the plateau, all of Gilead (rocky region), and all of Bashan (fruitful) as far as the cities of Salecah (migration) and Edrei (good pasture) in the kingdom of Og (long-necked).
