30 And Sihon king of Heshbon was not willing for us to pass by him, for Jehovah thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart strong in order to give him into thy hand as this day. 31 And Jehovah will say to me, See, I began to give before thee Sihon and his land: begin and possess to inherit his land. 32 And Sihon came forth to our meeting, he and all his people to war at Jahaz. 33 Jehovah our God will give him before us; and he smote him and his sons and all his people.
