1 I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and He said: “Strike the doorposts and the thresholds will shake, and break them on the head of them all, and the last of them I will kill with the sword. No one fleeing can flee from them, and no fugative will escape from them. 2 If they dig into Sheol, from there my hand will take them, and if they go up to the heavens, from there I will bring them down. 3 And if they hide themselves on the top of Carmel, from there I will search and will take them; and if they hide from My eyes at the bottom of the sea, from there I will command the serpent, and it will bite them!
