25 You spoke by the Holy Spirit {Hagiou Pneumatos} through the mouth of Your servant (child), our father David (beloved): ‘Why do the nations {ethnē} rage and the peoples plot in vain? 26 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord {Kyriou} and against His Anointed One (His Christ).’ 27 In fact, this is the very city where Herod (heroic) and Pontius Pilate (armed with a spear) conspired with the Gentiles {ethnesin} and the people of Israel (He wrestles with God) against Your holy servant Jesus (YHWH saves), whom You anointed.
