Acts 14:19-22 ▼

19 But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds, and having stoned Paul, they dragged him outside the city, supposing him to have died.

20 But the disciples having surrounded him, having risen up, he entered into the city. And on the next day he went out with Barnabas to Derbe.

21 And having proclaimed the gospel to that city and having discipled many, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch,

22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith and that “through many tribulations it is necessary for us to enter into the kingdom of God.”
