44 While Peter (rock) was still speaking these words {rhēmata}, the Holy Spirit {Hagion Pneuma} fell upon all who heard his message. 45 All the circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter (rock) were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit {Hagiou Pneumatos} had been poured out even on the Gentiles {ethnē}. 46 For they heard them speaking in tongues (languages) and exalting God {Theon}.
