27 In the fiftieth year and second year of Azariah king of Judah, became king Pekah son of Remaliah over Israel in Samaria twenty years. 28 And he did evil in the eyes of YHWH; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who had caused Israel to sin. 29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and seized Ijon, and Abel-beth-maacah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and he removed them to Assyria. 30 And Hoshea son of Elah bound a conspiracy against Pekah son of Remaliah, and he struck him and killed him. And he reigned in his place in the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah. 2 Kings 15:27-30, Berean Literal Bible. Public domain.
