In the twentieth year and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah became king.

He was a son of sixteen years in his reigning, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-two years. And the name of his mother was Jecholiah from Jerusalem.

And he did right in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that Amaziah his father had done.

However the high places were not turned aside; the people continued sacrificing and burning incense on the high places.

And YHWH struck the king, and he became a leper until the day of his death, and he dwelt in a separate house, and Jotham son of the king was over the house, judging the people of the land.

And the rest of the acts of Azariah and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Words of the Days of the Kings of Judah?

And Azariah rested with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the City of David. And Jotham his son reigned in his place.
