17 Charge them, that are rich in this world, not to be high-minded nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who richly affords us all things for enjoyment: charge them to do good, 18 to be rich in good works, to be ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 19 treasuring up to themselves a good foundation for the future, that they may obtain eternal life. 20 O Timothy, keep that with which thou art entrusted, avoiding profane empty babblings, and the oppositions of science falsely so called: 21 which some pretending to, have erred from the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. 1 Timothy 6:17-21, Worsley New Testament. Public domain.
