17 Charge those who are rich in this age, that they be not proud, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us all things richly for our enjoyment, 18 that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, liberal, 19 treasuring up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. 20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your charge, avoiding those profane and empty babblings, and disputations about knowledge falsely so called; 21 by making a profession of this knowledge, some have erred as it respects the faith. Grace be with you. Amen. 1 Timothy 6:17-21, Anderson New Testament. Public domain.
