1 Corinthians 5:1-10 ▼

1 Sexual immorality is actually heard of among you?, and sexual immorality such as is not even among the nations, so as for one to have the wife of the father.

2 And you? are puffed up! And did you not rather mourn, so that the one having done this work might be removed out of your? midst?

3 For I indeed, being absent in body but being present in spirit, have already judged the one having thus carried this out, as being present,

4 in the name our Lord Jesus, in your? having been gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of the Lord Jesus,

5 to deliver up such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

6 Your? boasting is not good. Do you? not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

7 Cleanse out the old leaven, so that you? may be a new lump, as you? are, unleavened. For also Christ our Passover was sacrificed,

8 so that we may keep the feast, not with old leaven, not with leaven of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth.

9 I wrote to you? in the letter not to associate with sexually immoral people,

10 not altogether with the sexually immoral of this world, or with the coveters and swindlers, or idolaters—since then you? would need to go out from the world.
