13 Jesse (I possess) was the father of Eliab (God is father) his firstborn; Abinadab (my father is willing) was born second, Shimea (Shimei) third, 14 Nethanel (given of God) fourth, Raddai (trampling) fifth, 15 Ozem (I shall hasten them) sixth, and David (beloved) seventh. 16 Their sisters were Zeruiah (balsam) and Abigail (my father is joy).
