7 And they carried the ark of God on a new cart from the house of Abinadab. And Uzza and Ahio were driving the cart. 8 And David and all Israel played before the face of God with all the might, with singing, and on harps, and on stringed instruments, and on tambourines, and on cymbals, and with the trumpets. 9 And they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, and Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen had stumbled. 10 And the anger of YHWH was kindled against Uzza, and He struck him upon that he stretched out his hand upon the ark, and he died there before the face of God. 1 Chronicles 13:7-10, Berean Literal Bible.
