A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A song. He has founded His city on the holy mountains. On the holy mount stands the city he founded; Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. A song. He has founded his city on the holy mountain.
The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. the LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.
Glorious things are ascribed to you, O city of God. Selah Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God. Selah Glorious things are said of you, city of God:
“I will mention Rahab and Babylon among those who know Me—along with Philistia, Tyre, and Cush—when I say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’” Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush— “This one was born there,” they say. “I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me— Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush — and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”
And it will be said of Zion: “This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High Himself will establish her.” And of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; for the Most High himself will establish her. Indeed, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her.”
The LORD will record in the register of the peoples: “This one was born in Zion.” Selah The LORD records as he registers the peoples, “This one was born there.” Selah The LORD will write in the register of the peoples: “This one was born in Zion.”
Singers and pipers will proclaim, “All my springs of joy are in You.” Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.” As they make music they will sing, “All my fountains are in you.”
