24 There is one who scatters, and increases yet more. There is one who withholds more than is appropriate, but gains poverty. One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
25 The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
26 People curse someone who withholds grain, but blessing will be on the head of him who sells it. The people curse him who holds back grain, but a blessing is on the head of him who sells it. People curse the one who hoards grain, but they pray God’s blessing on the one who is willing to sell.
27 He who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but he who searches after evil, it shall come to him. Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it. Whoever seeks good finds favor, but evil comes to one who searches for it.
28 He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous shall flourish as the green leaf. Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf. Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf.
29 He who troubles his own house shall inherit the wind. The foolish shall be servant to the wise of heart. Whoever troubles his own household will inherit the wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise of heart. Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise.
30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. He who is wise wins souls. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives.
31 Behold, the righteous shall be repaid in the earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner! If the righteous is repaid on earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner! If the righteous receive their due on earth, how much more the ungodly and the sinner!
