The soul which blesseth, shall be made fat: and he that inebriateth, shall be inebriated also himself. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
He that hideth up corn, shall be cursed among the people: but a blessing upon the head of them that sell. The people curse him who holds back grain, but a blessing is on the head of him who sells it. People curse the one who hoards grain, but they pray God’s blessing on the one who is willing to sell.
Well doth he rise early who seeketh good things; but he that seeketh after evil things shall be oppressed by them. Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it. Whoever seeks good finds favor, but evil comes to one who searches for it.
He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the just shall spring up as a green leaf. Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf. Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf.
He that troubleth his own house, shall inherit the winds: and the fool shall serve the wise. Whoever troubles his own household will inherit the wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise of heart. Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise.
The fruit of the just man is a tree of life: and he that gaineth souls, is wise. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives.
If the just man receive in the earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner. If the righteous is repaid on earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner! If the righteous receive their due on earth, how much more the ungodly and the sinner!
