Scales of deceit are an abomination to YHWH, and a whole stone is His delight. A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is his delight. The LORD detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.
Pride has come, and shame also comes, and with the humble is wisdom. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
The integrity of the upright ones guides them, and the perversity of the treacherous ones destroys them. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.
Wealth will not profit in the day of wrath, and righteousness delivers from death. Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.
The righteousness of a blameless one makes his way straight, and in his wickedness a wicked one will fall. The righteousness of the blameless keeps his way straight, but the wicked falls by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.
The righteousness of the upright ones will deliver them, and by their own desires those acting treacherously are captured. The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the treacherous are taken captive by their lust. The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the unfaithful are trapped by evil desires.
