2 to grasp wisdom and discipline, to understand deep thoughts, To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight, for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight;
3 to acquire the discipline of wise behavior- righteousness and justice and fairness- to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity; for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair;
4 to give insight to gullible people, to give knowledge and foresight to the young- to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth— for giving prudence to those who are simple, knowledge and discretion to the young—
5 a wise person will listen and continue to learn, and an understanding person will gain direction- Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance, let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance—
6 to understand a proverb and a clever saying, the words of wise people and their riddles. to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles. for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.
