To know wisdom, and instruction: To understand the words of prudence: To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight, for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight;
and to receive the instruction of doctrine, justice, and judgment, and equity: to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity; for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair;
To give subtilty to little ones, to the young man knowledge and understanding. to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth— for giving prudence to those who are simple, knowledge and discretion to the young—
A wise man shall hear and shall be wiser: and he that understandeth, shall possess governments. Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance, let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance—
He shall understand a parable, and the interpretation, the words of the wise, and their mysterious sayings. to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles. for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Fools despise wisdom and instruction. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
