1 [The LORD continued,] |On the first day of the seventh month you must have a holy assembly. You must not do any regular work. It is a day for [the trumpets to sound] a fanfare. “On the first day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work. It is a day for you to blow the trumpets, “’On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets.
2 As a burnt offering, a soothing aroma to the LORD, bring one young bull, one ram, and seven one-year-old lambs that have no defects. and you shall offer a burnt offering, for a pleasing aroma to the LORD: one bull from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish; As an aroma pleasing to the LORD, offer a burnt offering of one young bull, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.
3 Along with them bring grain offerings of flour mixed with olive oil. Bring 24 cups for each bull, 16 cups for each ram, also their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, three tenths of an ephah for the bull, two tenths for the ram, With the bull offer a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with olive oil; with the ram, two-tenths;
4 and 8 cups for each of the seven lambs. and one tenth for each of the seven lambs; and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.
5 Also bring one male goat as an offering for sin to make peace with the LORD. with one male goat for a sin offering, to make atonement for you; Include one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.
6 Offer these in addition to the monthly burnt offering with its grain offering, and the daily burnt offerings with their proper grain offerings and wine offerings.
