1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples sayde vnto hym: Maister, see what stones, & what buildynges are here. And as he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher, what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!” As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!”
2 And Iesus aunswered, & sayde vnto hym: Seest thou these great buildynges? There shall not be left one stone vpon another, that shall not be throwen downe. And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” “Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
