1 “For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace, and all the proud and all those doing wickedness will be as stubble; and the day that is coming will burn them up,” says YHWH of Hosts, “So that it will not leave for them a root or branch!” “For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the LORD of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. “Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the LORD Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them.
2 “And for you⁺ who fear My name the sun of righteousness will arise, with healing in its wings. And you⁺ will go forth, and you⁺ will leap like calves from the stall. But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.
3 And you⁺ will trample the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your⁺ feet, on the day that I am preparing,” says YHWH of Hosts. And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the LORD of hosts. Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the LORD Almighty.
4 “Remember the Law of Moses My servant that I commanded him on Horeb for all Israel—the statutes and ordinances. “Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rules that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel. “Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel.

6 And he will turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of sons to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a curse.” And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.” He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”
