34 “So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly. “But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.
35 For it will come like a snare on all those who dwell on the surface of all the earth. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth.
36 Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.” But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”
37 Every day Jesus was teaching in the temple, and every night he would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet. And every day he was teaching in the temple, but at night he went out and lodged on the mount called Olivet. Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple, and each evening he went out to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives,
38 All the people came early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him. And early in the morning all the people came to him in the temple to hear him. and all the people came early in the morning to hear him at the temple.
