1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offerings, and he will offer of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer them without blemish before the Lord. “If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offers an animal from the herd, male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD. “’If your offering is a fellowship offering, and you offer an animal from the herd, whether male or female, you are to present before the LORD an animal without defect.
2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his victim, which shall be slain in the entry of the tabernacle of the testimony, and the sons of Aaron the priests shall pour the blood round about upon the altar. And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and kill it at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall throw the blood against the sides of the altar. You are to lay your hand on the head of your offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash the blood against the sides of the altar.
3 And they shall offer of the sacrifice of peace offerings, for an oblation to the Lord, the fat that covereth the entrails, and all the fat that is within. And from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as a food offering to the LORD, he shall offer the fat covering the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering to the LORD: the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them,
4 The two kidneys with the fat wherewith the flanks are covered, and the caul of the liver with the two little kidneys. and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove with the kidneys. both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys.
5 And they shall burn them upon the altar, for a holocaust, putting fire under the wood: for an oblation of most sweet savour to the Lord. Then Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offering, which is on the wood on the fire; it is a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD. Then Aaron’s sons are to burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offering that is lying on the burning wood; it is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
6 But if his oblation and the sacrifice of peace offering be of the flock, whether he offer male or female, they shall be without blemish. “If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering to the LORD is an animal from the flock, male or female, he shall offer it without blemish. “’If you offer an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering to the LORD, you are to offer a male or female without defect.
7 If he offer a lamb before the Lord, If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before the LORD, If you offer a lamb, you are to present it before the LORD,
8 He shall put his hand upon the head of his victim: and it shall be slain in the entry of the tabernacle of the testimony: and the sons of Aaron shall pour the blood thereof round about upon the altar. lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it in front of the tent of meeting; and Aaron’s sons shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar. lay your hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar.
9 And they shall offer of the victim of peace offerings a sacrifice to the Lord: the fat and the whole rump, Then from the sacrifice of the peace offering he shall offer as a food offering to the LORD its fat; he shall remove the whole fat tail, cut off close to the backbone, and the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering to the LORD: its fat, the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them,
10 With the kidneys, and the fat that covereth the belly and all the vitals and both the little kidneys, with the fat that is about the flanks, and the caul of the liver with the little kidneys. and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove with the kidneys. both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys.
11 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar, for the food of the fire, and of the oblation of the Lord. And the priest shall burn it on the altar as a food offering to the LORD. The priest shall burn them on the altar as a food offering presented to the LORD.
12 If his offering be a goat, and he offer it to the Lord, “If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD “’If your offering is a goat, you are to present it before the LORD,
13 He shall put his hand upon the head thereof: and shall immolate it in the entry of the tabernacle of the testimony. And the sons of Aaron shall pour the blood thereof round about upon the altar. and lay his hand on its head and kill it in front of the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar. lay your hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar.
14 And they shall take of it for the food of the Lord's fire, the fat that covereth the belly, and that covereth all the vital parts : Then he shall offer from it, as his offering for a food offering to the LORD, the fat covering the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails From what you offer you are to present this food offering to the LORD: the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them,
15 The two little kidneys with the caul that is upon them which is by the flanks, and the fat of the liver with the little kidneys: and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove with the kidneys. both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys.
16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar, for the food of the fire, and of a most sweet savour. All the fat shall be the Lord's. 17 By a perpetual law for your generations, and in all your habitations: neither blood nor fat shall you eat at all. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, in all your dwelling places, that you eat neither fat nor blood.” “’This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.’”
