Later, by the Sea of Tiberias (the Sea of Galilee), Jesus (YHWH saves) again revealed (made clear) Himself to the disciples (pupils). He made Himself known in this way: After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way. Afterward Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Galilee. It happened this way:
Simon (hearing) Peter (rock), Thomas (twin) called Didymus (the twin), Nathanael (God has given) from Cana in Galilee (circuit), the sons of Zebedee (YHWH has given), and two other disciples (pupils) were together. Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. Simon Peter, Thomas (also known as Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together.
Simon (hearing) Peter (rock) told them, “I am going fishing. “We will go with you, they said. So they went out and got into the boat, but caught nothing that night. Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We will go with you.” They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. “I’m going out to fish,” Simon Peter told them, and they said, “We’ll go with you.” So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.
Early in the morning, Jesus (YHWH saves) stood on the shore, but the disciples (pupils) did not recognize that it was Jesus. Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.
So He called out to them, “Children, do you⁺ have any fish? “No, they answered. Jesus said to them, “Children, do you have any fish?” They answered him, “No.” He called out to them, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?” “No,” they answered.
He told them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you⁺ will find some. So they cast it there, and they were unable to haul it in because of the great number of fish. He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
Then the disciple (pupil) whom Jesus (YHWH saves) loved {ēgapa} said to Peter (rock), “It is the Lord {Kyrios}! As soon as Simon (hearing) Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it) and jumped into the sea. That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, “It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water.
The other disciples (pupils) came ashore in the boat. They dragged in the net full of fish, for they were not far from land, only about a hundred yards <300 ft / 91 m>. The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, but about a hundred yards off. The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.
